These Terms and Conditions govern the hire of portable toilets (“Units”) from A Star Loo Hire (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By hiring our Units, you (“Customer,” “Hirer,” or “you”) agree to comply with the following terms.

1. Definitions
1.1 “Unit(s)” refers to the portable toilets and any related equipment supplied by the Company.
1.2 “Hire Period” refers to the duration agreed for the hire of the Unit(s).
1.3 “Site” refers to the location where the Unit(s) will be delivered and used.
1.4 “Delivery Date” refers to the date the Unit(s) will be delivered to the Site.
1.5 “Collection Date” refers to the date the Unit(s) will be collected from the Site.

2. Hire Period & Extension
2.1 The Hire Period commences on the Delivery Date and continues until the agreed Collection Date.
2.2 If an extension is required, the Customer must notify the Company at least [48 hours] before the end of the Hire Period. Extensions are subject to availability and additional charges.

3. Delivery, Collection & Site Requirements
3.1 The Company will deliver and collect the Unit(s) at the agreed dates and location.
3.2 The Customer must ensure:
•The Site is accessible by our delivery vehicle.(3.5T flat bed van)
•The ground is firm and level for safe placement.
•There are no obstructions preventing delivery, servicing, or collection.
* Toilets must be within 10meters from vehicle access.
3.3 If delivery or collection is unsuccessful due to Site inaccessibility, a failed delivery/collection charge may apply.
3.4 The Customer must not move the Unit(s) from the agreed location without prior written consent from the Company.

4. Use of the Units
4.1 The Customer is responsible for ensuring the Unit(s) are used properly and for their intended purpose.
4.2 The following are strictly prohibited:
•Misuse or damage to the Unit(s).
•Disposal of items other than human waste and toilet paper.
•Vandalism, graffiti, or unauthorised modifications.
4.3 The Customer is liable for any damage caused beyond normal wear and tear.

5. Servicing & Maintenance
5.1 Regular servicing is included as agreed at the time of hire.
5.2 Additional servicing requests may incur extra charges.
5.3 If the Customer fails to allow access for scheduled servicing, the Company is not liable for any resulting hygiene issues.
5.4 If the unit(s) are not accessible, the service cannot be carried out and will still be charged.

6. Charges & Payment
6.1 Hire charges are as quoted and must be paid in accordance with agreed terms.
2-4week in advance.
6.2 A deposit may be required before delivery.
6.3 If payment is not received on time, the Company reserves the right to:
•Charge interest on overdue amounts.
•Suspend or terminate the hire agreement.
•Collect the Unit(s) immediately without notice.
6.4 Additional charges may apply for:
•Excessive cleaning due to misuse/over use.
•Damage beyond reasonable wear and tear.
•Late return or extension of the Hire Period.

7. Liability & Insurance
7.1 The Company is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from misuse of the Unit(s).
7.2 The Customer is responsible for ensuring the Unit(s) are secure and protected from theft or vandalism.
7.3 The Company’s liability for any claim shall not exceed the total hire charges paid.

8. Cancellation & Refunds
8.1 Cancellations must be made in writing. The following charges apply:
•More than 14 days before the Delivery Date: Full refund.
•7-13 days before the Delivery Date: 50% of hire charge.
•Less than 48 hours before the Delivery Date: No refund.
8.2 If the Company cancels due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.

9. Termination of Agreement
9.1 The Company reserves the right to terminate the hire agreement immediately if the Customer:
•Breaches these Terms and Conditions.
•Fails to make payment as agreed.
•Uses the Unit(s) in an unlawful or hazardous manner.
9.2 Upon termination, the Company may collect the Unit(s) immediately.

10. Force Majeure
10.1 The Company is not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, or transport disruptions.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
11.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
11.2 Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
